Hello everyone, in this post I am going to be explaining everything about MinecraftParty.
*Scroll all the way down for F.A.Q.
    Introduction
Welcome to MinecraftParty, one of the best mini game servers around. To join, connect to MinecraftParty.com to be connected to one of the many MinecraftParty servers. If you want to play with a friend, you can issue the command /ip. This command will tell you the direct number of the server you are on, give this ip to your friend and he will be connected to the same server as you.

When you first join, you will be spawned in a castle. To jump right into the game, walk straight up the steps, and into the portal. When you step into the portal, it will spawn you into the mini game world. If you enter the portal while a game is happening, you will be spawned into the world in Spectating mode. This will allow you to watch the current game until it is over. If a game is counting down until its start when you enter the portal, you will be teleported into the game.

If you need to know how to play any of the games, you can do /help in game (This will give you a brief explanation of the game) or you can look at the Mini Games section of this post. Once the game has started the game will continue until either A. Someone wins or B. The timer runs out. When the game is over, it will tell each player what place they came in, then it will announce the players who came in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. These players will all receive coin prizes. The better you do, the bigger the prize (You need to be in the top 3 winners to win any coins).

    The Ranks

Noob - This is the rank that all players receive when they first join the server. It lasts for around 90 minutes (This means after you play for about 90 minutes, the rank is removed). The purpose of this rank is to give you a free taste of the Donor rank called VIP. With VIP you can play all games, so naturally with the Noob rank, you get access to all of MinecraftParty's awesome mini games! When this rank runs out, you will become the Member Rank.

Member - This is the rank you receive when your Noob rank expires. So basically every player gets this rank after 90 minutes of gameplay on MinecraftParty. With this rank you are able to play all games except for 3 chosen games that will alternate over time. The reason for these alternating games that the Member rank does not have the ability to join is because MinecraftParty needs a reason for player to want to donate. To provide such great servers for everyone, their monthly bill is many thousands of dollars. Because of this, donations are greatly needed and appreciated. If you would like to donate, you can click here. Donating will get you the VIP rank.

VIP - This is MinecraftParty server's donor rank. It gives players tons of awesome features, and it helps McBrawl make the servers better, and better. Some of the features include: Custom chosen color for your name, double the amount of coins you earn (e.g.: A non-donor would get 20 for winning a game, but you would receive 40), you get access to all games, and you have the ability to practice a specific game. If you are interested in donating (It will help the server our a ton, and give you some really cool features) then you can click here!

    The Coin Shop

The Coin Shop is the place where you can spend all the coins you earn in-game. To access the Coin Shop, right click the golden ingot you spawn with when you first join the server. You can only access the Coin Shop from the MinecraftParty lobby, you can not access it ingame.

    Categorizes of the Shop

Character (VIPS only) - Free -When you open the "Character" tab in the Coin Shop, you will be able to pick a specific color for your name. This is free, but you must be a donor to chose a colored name for your self.

Horse Color - $2000 - When you open the "Horse Color" tab in the Coin Shop, you will be able to purchase a different color for the horse you use in the Horse Race Mini Game. Each color costs 2,000 coins. Anyone can buy a different color for their horse, and once your buy the color, you will always have it. It also comes with the option of enabling/disabling the color (In the event you want to purchase or use a different color).

Horse Style - $2000 - When you open the "Horse Style" tab in the Coin Shop, you will be able to purchase a different style of horse for you to use in the Horse Race Mini Game (e.g.: Black Dots, Creamy, White Stripes). Each Style costs 2,000 coins. Anyone can buy a different style for their horse, and once you buy the style, you will always have it. It also comes with the option of enabling/disabling the color (In the event you want to purchase or use a different style).

Horse Armor - Prices range from $100-$500 - When you open the "Horse Armor" tab in the Coin Shop, you will be able to purchase different kinds of horse armor for your horse to use in the Horse Race Mini Game. The kinds of armor that you can buy are: Iron - 100 coins, Gold - 250 coins, Diamond - 500 coins. Anyone can buy different sets of armor for their horse, and once you buy the armor, you will always have it. It also comes with the option of enabling/disabling the armor (In the event you want to purchase or use different armor.)

Spleef Items - Prices range from $40-$100 - When you open the "Spleef Items" tab in the Coin Shop, you will be able to purchase different "power ups" that you will be able to use a certain amount of times. The two items that are available to buy as of right now in the Coin Shop are: Spleef Fireball (4 uses per purchase), and the Spleef Tnt (1 use per purchase). The Spleef Fireballs are 40 coins, and the Spleef Tnt are 100 coins. Anyone can purchase this item, and use them a certain amount of times per purchase (these amounts are shown above).

Dead End Iteams - $30 - When you open the "Dead End Items" tab in the Coin Shop, you will be able to purchase a Jump item which can be used in the Dead End Mini Game. The Jump power up costs 30 coins, and can only be used once before needing to be repurchased.

    Mini Games

Musical Minecarts - This game is basically the Minecraft version of the popular game played in real life, Musical Chairs. When the game starts, music will start to play (At the top of your screen, it indicates when the music is playing or not. This is for people who don't play with Minecraft Sounds). When the music ends, random minecarts fall from the sky. In order to make it to the next round, you have to get into a minecart. If you are unable to make it to a minecart, you will be eliminated. The last player standing wins.

    One In The Chamber
    - In this game, you have to be the last player alive to win!! You start with a bow and one arrow. Your objective is to shoot other players with your bow, and avoid getting shot yourself. If you hit someone with an arrow, they will be instantly eliminated. You will also gain an extra arrow for eliminating them! If you shoot someone and miss, you can do two things to gain arrows back: You can either pick up an arrow from the ground, or you can wait for 30 seconds, because all players receive a free arrow ever 30 seconds.

    Hot TNT
    - This game is basically the Minecraft version of the popular game played in real life, (I know, real life, thats crazy) Hot Potato. When the game starts, certain people (selected at random) will be give the TNT. There objective is to pass the TNT onto someone else before the timer at the top of your screen runs out. If the person with the TNT is unable to do this, they will be eliminated. The trick to this game is to get really close to a player, then spam hit them. This helps because the hit range on Hot TNT is strangely low.

    Horse Race Rainbow
    - In this game, your goal is to beat all the other players in a race around the map. You only need to complete one lap, then the race is over. Some tips and tricks: click space to give your horse a speed boost, play in f5 so you can see you surrounds and how close to falling off you are, and stay on the inside of all turns in the map.

Red Light Green Light - In this game, your goal is to make it the end of the map while responding correctly to the green, yellow, and red lights. When the game starts your inventory will be filled up with green wool that says Go! Randomly the server will choose moments to give you a quick warning to stop with yellow, then give you the red wool. If you are still moving when the red wool comes into your inventory, you will be sent back to the start line. This means you must stop as soon as you see the yellow wool!!

Spleef - In this game, you goal is the break the blocks under other players feat while at the same time avoiding falling into other players hole's. The last man standing wins. When the game starts, you will be given a shovel that can insta-break the snow that all the players compete on. When you break a block of snow with the shovel, aside from it breaking the block, it gives you 1 snowball. The block that this snowball hits is removed. This gives you two ways of "spleefing people off": Breaking the blocks with a shovel, or throwing snowballs at their feet.

Minefield - In this game, your goal is to make it to the end of the Minefield without stepping on any mines. If you land on a mine you will be sent back to the start. If you try to run to fast through this game, there is a very high chance you will miss a jump, and be sent back to start! You just need to be carful, and attempt to run on the clearest part of the map you can find (Look for the clearest part during the countdown before the game starts.

Red Alert - In this game, the platform you spawn on will slowly start to break apart when the game starts. The blocks will go from white to yellow to orange to red, then to air. The last player standing on the platform wins. Don't try to just run around like a "chicken with it's head cut off", look at the ground beneath you, and move accordingly.

Snowball Fight - In this game, you are spawned into a snowy arena. You are given a small amount of time to spread out, then all players receive a shovel, with it you attempt to break snow blocks with the shovel and then you will be given a snowball, but the block won't disappear. You have to hit all the other players with snowballs. At the start, you should try and stay in the corner, but when there are less players in the game you should try and eliminate some!

Rainbow Jump - In this game, you have to parkour your way across a big map, and the game ends when either someone beats the parkour, or the time limit reaches it's end. The person who beats the parkour, or gets the closest to the finish line wins. You should try to jump diagonally across the map, and try to not stop moving.

Wool Mix up - In this game, a random wool colored bar will spawn in each players hot bar, they have to stand on that color before the timer on their experience bar runs out. You should look around as soon as the color comes up, and move the closest block of the color. Try to start to learn where certain colors are located around you. This will help a lot when there are only a few players left you have 1.5 seconds to get to a specific color.

Smoke Monster - In this game, you will have to be the last player remaining on a round platform. When the game starts, big things of "Smoke" will appear, you have to run from these. If one of the arms of "smoke" hits you, you will be eliminated from the game. This game can be tricky at first, but once your play it a few times, its really fun!

Chicken Game - In this game, you have to kill the most chickens and cows out of everyone else in the game. When the game starts, three kinds of mobs are randomly spawned: Chickens - 1 Point worth, Chickens - minus 50% of your score, Cows - 3 Point worth. Be very careful to not hit the Minus 50% Chickens, as these will diminish your score to almost nothing before you can say Minecraft! Try and get critical hits on the cows, because they have more health than the chickens, and if you just hurt then, they run around super fast.

Dead End - In this game, you have to be the last man surviving on a platform that breaks behind you as you run. In this game you can't jump, but you can buy a Jump Power up from the Coin Shop. These can prove to be quite helpful. The game dead end is another tricky one. But once you play it a few times, you can start to come up with a strategy that works for you.

Diamond Mine - In this game, you have to mine the most ores out of everyone else. When the game starts, you will receive a shovel and a pic, use these to dig into the ground and find Diamonds and Emeralds. All the diamonds are worth 1 point, and the Emeralds are all worth 3 points. Diamonds are easier to find, where as Emeralds are very rare. Part of the game is based on luck, but another part is based on skill. You need to be able to switch quickly between shovel and pic and you need to have a good style of mining.

    Leaderboards

When you join the main Minecraftparty server, on the left side of your screen you will find the top players of that specific day. We don't currently have online leaderboards, but those are under development (This post will be updated when the online leaderboards are up)

    F.A.Q.

Question: How can I get my noob rank back?
Answer: Once you play MinecraftParty for 90 minutes, your Noob rank will expire. Once your rank expires, you can not get it back. The purpose of the Noob rank is to give you a taste of all of the MinecraftParty Mini games. Once your Noob rank expires, the only way to play all the games is to donate. You can donate for the VIP by clicking here. (VIP is on a 20% off sale at the moment!!!)

Question: Why can only the noob rank and VIP play all the games?
Answer: McBrawl makes it so you need to donate to play all the games. This is because McBrawl needs the donations. There monthly server bill for their servers is several thousand dollars and is impossible to pay for unless they receive a lot of donations. Donating really helps them out, and is defiantly worth it!!

    Question:
How do I get back to the MinecraftParty lobby?
Answer: You can get right back to the MinecraftParty lobby by issuing the command /quit or /shop. When you go back to the lobby, you can access the shop and the daily leaderboards. If you are VIP, you can also access the individual games in case you need practice.

    Question:
How does the coin system work?
Answer: The amount of coins you receive for winning a game is determined by the amount of players online the server. The more players online, the more coins you earn. First place earns 1 coin for every player online the server. Second place wins half of the amount of coins first place got. Finally, third place wins half of the coins second place got. If you have VIP, you win double the amount of coins a normal player would get. (e.g: Normal player in first with 34 people online the server: 34 coins. VIP player in first with 34 players online the server: 68 coins)

    Question:
What are the daily leader boards based on?
Answer: The daily leader boards are based on the amount of coins a player has won so far that day. VIPs get a huge advantage on this board because they get double the coins. Soon, there will be an online leaderboard that will be more long-term related, not just a daily thing.

If there are another questions you would like answered, please reply to this post with those questions. I will add the question to the F.A.Q, and give you a detailed answer.

Thanks for reading everyone, you can send to link to this post to those people in game who don't understand the ranks for need anything at all. If you find any mistakes or grammar issues in this post, please let me know!

I will see you on MinecraftParty

Also, the red text is a little annoying. Mind making it default?

There is already another guide to the server which makes this a little late but at least you have information on the ranks and shop items.

Oh, that was the one your were talking about? I feel like thats not a guide, its just tips and tricks for the Mini Games. My guide explains everything that a new player (One who just joined, or is planning on joining) would need to know. 8vo's tips and tricks post is great, and really helpful, but its not a guide, so I don't see how this post is late :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks for the feedback btw
Yay, @chickenputty stickyed the post! Big thanks to @chickenputty!! Thanks for all the great feedback guys! :grinning:
